Doing good while doing well: We want to help you do it!
Upstander Projects seeks to help us all find -- and stand up for -- the ways we love to do good in the world.
When we work as Upstanders, we see the ways that giving and succeeding are compatible enterprises.
Whether it's advocacy work, volunteering at a school, or giving back in whatever unique way speaks to you, we firmly believe that we can all thrive in our lives through doing work that is meaningful to us. Upstander Projects aims to help us understand the beauty of the other work we do in the world -- the work besides making money.
Here at Upstander Projects, we all have advocacy work that we are passionate about. We put time, money and energy into these issues to the best of our abilities.
Our founder's story stems from a long-held belief that doing well and doing good go hand-in-hand. You don't have to make advocacy work your full-time job; it can be something that enhances your life, creates shared purpose, inspires a community of social entrepreneurs who understand the amazing opportunity we have to create change in our connected world.
Rooted in advocacy work, founder Suzanne Brogger's passion for standing up takes shape through The Bystander Project, founded in 2012 with the goal of helping people move away from being passive bystanders to becoming Upstanders who are empowered to break free from cycles of familial and socially-imposed abuse.
